YAMAHA NS-1000 NS-1000M BERYLLIUM MIDRANGE MID one Picture(s) and Description:

YAMAHA NS-1000/NS-1000M Beryllium Dome MIDRANGE Single JA-0801 Description Yamaha released a very bold statement in loudspeaker design in 1976 with the NS-1000 and NS-1000M. They fabricated the midrange and tweeter domes utilizing vapor deposited beryllium, making them fantastically strong, light, and expensive. The manufacturing process of beryllium is very toxic so very few countries can do this and more than anything, it is a very expensive process. The JA-0801 beryllium MID is 0.03mm thick and weighs 0.06 gram. The result is ultra-low distortion, wide dispersion, and excellent phase coherence. Serial number: E720403 Condition Units are in EXCELLENT condition, show very, very minor wear and tear, nicks and scratches. Inner phase ring structures and beryllium domes untouched. Units are in EXCELLENT operating condition and sound great. Terms Buyer to prepay for Yamaha Tweeter Pair and packing/shipping/insurance. Local pick up is welcome. Actual unit in photo. Sold as is, with no further guarantee. PayPal or Visa/Mastercard/AMEX thru PayPal accepted. Visa/Mastercard/Discover accepted directly also. Personal check is also accepted but must clear prior to shipment. International Buyers – Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior.
